Green Air Super Vac - Calgary's 'Go-to' Furnace and Duct Cleaners

Is your furnace making noise?
Does it take a long time to heat your house or cool it down?
If you’re experiencing these problems, then there could be something wrong with your furnace.

Here at Green Air Super-Vac, we aim to enhance your quality of life by ensuring the air that you breathe in is fresh and comfortable. We can help you reduce blower noise, increase burner efficiency, prevent back flow into the duct system, and maximize the air circulation in your home. Not only that, but by maintaining your furnace on a regular basis, you will reduce your monthly utility bill and increase the lifetime of your equipment. Annually within a typical household, up to 40 pounds of dust is created through everyday activities. The dust that gets collected is usually generated from dander and chemicals. The contaminants with no where else to disperse, is pulled into the ducts of the furnace and is re-circulated throughout the furnace system daily. Over a period of time, the build up of contaminants within the ducts contribute to larger health problems such as respiratory health conditions (asthma), environmental allergies (dust mite allergy) and autoimmune disorders. Not only does furnace cleaning provide a solution to health issues, it may also help out with cutting energy costs and having a greener footprint. By clearing the ducts and vents, it reduces the amount of energy the furnace needs to heat and as a result will save energy. Green Air Super-Vac aims to provide the highest quality of furnace cleaning with our high pressure mounted trucks that will ensure that every bit of dust that has accumulated will be blasted away. Our truck is mounted with a PTO (power take off) driven system that allows the equipment to generate and achieve a vacuum suction three times more than a portable of a portable box truck unit.

Dryer Vent Cleaning

Did you know that LINT is the most dangerous and highly flammable item in your household?
Last year, there were over 16.000 dryer vent fires. Regular maintenance of your dryer vents can reduce the risk by ensuring that the build up of lint in the exhaust vent is cleared away. Not only will it reduce hazards, but dryer vent cleaning can assist you in saving money on your energy bill by decreasing the time it takes to dry your clothes. At Green Air Super-Vac Furnace and Duct Cleaning, there is no job too big or too small for us to handle. Whether it is a place of residency or commercial use, we will ensure that the job is done right.

Here are some useful tips to prevent fires:

  • Clean the lint screen/filter before or after drying each load of clothes. If clothing is still damp at the end of a typical drying cycle or drying requires longer times than normal, this may be a sign that the lint screen or the exhaust duct is blocked.
  • Clean the dryer vent and exhaust duct periodically. Check the outside dryer vent while the dryer is operating to make sure exhaust air is escaping. If it is not, the exhaust duct or the vent may be blocked. To remove a blockage in the exhaust path, it may be necessary to disconnect the exhaust duct from the dryer. Remember to reconnect the ducting to the dryer and outside vent before using the dryer again.
  • Clean behind the dryer. This is often a place where lint can build up. Have a qualified service technician clean the interior of the dryer chassis periodically to minimize the amount of lint accumulation. Keep the area around the dryer clean and free of clutter.

Filter Maintenance
Clean air filters save money and energy. Air filter help prevent the dust and debris from being circulated throughout your home and helps your ducts remain clear. It is suggested that your air filter is replaced every 90 days to help the unit run more efficiently. As part of Green Air Super-Vac’s services, we will give you a FREE standard sized air filter with a full duct cleaning.
